Baliuag University Strengthens Commitment to Digital Literacy with New MOA with SDO Baliwag

After the successful first year of a strong partnership between the Schools Division Office of the City of Baliwag and Baliuag University in providing free training through the Computer Literacy Program, the two institutions once again reaffirmed their collaboration by signing a new Memorandum of Agreement on March 14, 2026. The renewed agreement aims to further expand and strengthen their joint initiatives for another year.

The signing was led by Dr. Patricia B. Lagunda, President of Baliuag University, and SDS Rowena Tizon-Quiambao of the Schools Division Office of the City of Baliwag.

This initiative forms part of the continuing outreach efforts of Baliuag University, spearheaded by the College of Information Technology Education under the BU HALINA Extension Program, particularly the Computer Literacy Project and the Skills Training for Out-of-School Youth Project, which aim to promote digital literacy and provide meaningful learning opportunities for the community.
