Baliuag University College of Environmental Design and Engineering recognizes the importance of engineering in nearly all aspects of human life, with the aim of training students to become efficient and effective Engineering professionals. CEDE offers well-designed and structured four-year program that emphasizes professional engineering practice. Our programs balance scientific theories with real-world application in environmental design and engineering solutions. CEDE also implements Outcomes-Based Education that prepares and develops students to be ready for the world of work and to successfully hurdle the professional licensure examinations. 


Our Programs

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)

The BSCE program prepares you for a profession where knowledge of mathematical and physical sciences is gained through study and practice. The program equips you to apply judgement to utilize materials, to harness and protect nature, and to work efficiently, functionally, and safely. The program also trains you to become engineers who work to provide people with facilities for community living, industry, transportation, and infrastructure.

Career Paths/Related Careers: Civil engineers pursue roles in construction, infrastructure projects, geotechnical and soils, geo-environment, water resources, structures, transportation, research, entrepreneurship, design, consultancy, and education.


Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE)

The BSCPE program trains you to apply engineering principles and methodologies in the analysis, design, implementation and management of hardware, software, and the integration of both.

Career Paths/Related Careers: Computer engineering graduates can pursue careers in project engineering, network system administration, data communications, systems, technical support, quality assurance, test engineering, technopreneurship, education, and research. 


Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSEEC)

The BSEEC program trains you in the integration of available and emerging technologies, with knowledge of Mathematics, and Natural, Social and Applied Sciences. You will be able to conceptualize, design, and implement new, improved, or innovative electronic systems and equipment, computer and communication systems, devices, goods and services, and processes.

Career Paths/Related Careers: Electronic engineering graduates can pursue careers in broadcasting, telecommunication, electronics design, computer systems, semiconductor manufacturing, automation, feedback, process control, robotics and mechatronics, instrumentation and telemetry, industrial electronics, signal processing, optics, and medical/biomedical electronics.


Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

The BSEE program balances engineering theory and laboratory experience dealing with the generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electricity. The program familiarizes you with electrical, electronic and computing equipment, and experimental techniques.

Career Paths/ Related Careers: Electrical engineering graduates can take on roles as a: power engineer, design engineer, illumination engineer, entrepreneur, sales engineer, distribution engineer, educator, researcher, instrumentation and control engineer, safety engineer, maintenance engineer, construction and project engineer, software developer, or electrical design inspector.


Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE)

The BSIE program integrates a wide variety of technology sciences with the production of goods and performance of services. You will learn how to integrate human, information, material, monetary, and technological resources to produce quality and cost-competitive goods and services in a healthy and efficient work environment.

Career Paths/Related Careers: Industrial engineers can work in the areas of production, organization and decision systems, operations manager, consultancy engineer, ergonomics, and human factors engineering.


Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)

The BSME program prepares you with the necessary knowledge and skills in mechanical design, fabrications, energy conversion, fuel and combustion technologies, heat transfer, materials, noise control and acoustics, manufacturing processes, rail transportation, automatic control, product safety and reliability, solar energy and technological impact to society.

Career Paths/ Related Careers: Mechanical Engineering graduates can take on roles as a: operations manager, maintenance engineer, design and consultancy engineer, production engineer, plant engineer sales and marketing engineer, fabricator, automotive engineer, instrumentation and controls engineer, biomedical engineer, or HVAC engineer.

Quality Instruction

Our four-year programs include core Mathematics and Science courses, professional, and allied engineering courses. 

Each engineering curriculum includes about 200 units of courses spread across twelve trimesters, handled by qualified faculty members who hold masteral or doctoral degrees.

On-the-job training in reputable companies provides real-world experience. 

A research project in the 2nd year of the curriculum, and project study/ research complete the learning experience. These projects are evaluated by engineering majors, faculty members, the Dean and other experts in the engineering field.

The Civil Engineering program has reached Level II accreditation by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUOA).

95% of our graduates are employed within three months for non-board programs, and within three months after passing the Licensure Examinations for Board programs.

BU has produced Board Placers, including a CE 10th Placer with an average rating of 93.1; CE 12th Placer, with an average rating of 94.55% in November 2008; and a CE 17th Placer with an average rating of 91.85% in January 2008.
