Baliuag University Senior High School (Grades 11 and 12)

Senior High School (SHS) is an important milestone for all students. It is your gateway. The SHS program at Baliuag University prepares you by equipping you with the knowledge, skills, and competencies that will enable them to be successful individuals. Their chosen track and strand are like pathways towards their future careers; but finding the right track, for a Grade 10 completer can feel daunting, especially if one is yet to decide what he/she wants to be.

BU SHS offers the Academic track. When a student finds it hard to choose a strand, the Baliuag University Senior High School in cooperation with the Baliuag University Center for Career Counseling and Student Welfare offers free career counseling to undecided students.

The strands under the Academic track are Accountancy, Business and Mathematics (ABM), Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), and General Academic Strand (GAS). These strands aim to cater to the students’ interest, passion, career needs, and college preparation.

The BU Annex 3 Campus is equipped with the facilities conducive to promote optimal learning for the students. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the University has made sure that there will be continuity of learning, hence, the University Learning Alternative Platform (ULAP) was utilized. ULAP makes learning accessible and safe for students. BU SHS students are also given access to the use of University facilities such as the BU Gym, IT laboratories, Science laboratories, and libraries.

BU SHS does not only help you develop academically, but holistically as well. At BU SHS you have a variety of student clubs to choose from. These clubs are intended to cater your social and co-curricular needs. The clubs give you opportunities to explore your interests, socialize with other students, and hone their skills and talents. The clubs offered are Anime Club, Arts and Crafts Club, Cooking Club, Campus Journalism and Photography Club Campus Eye, Campus Marshals, Debate Society, Earth Savers Club, Korean Club, Literary Club, Fashion and Makeup Club, and Tiktok Club.

BU SHS inculcates in you the University’s core values – Responsibility, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Respect (RISER). These values are realized through values integration in the lessons and in the different student activities through the help of the SHS Advisers and with the guidance of competent Career Counselors.

BU SHS accepts students who are recipients of The Senior High School Voucher Program (SHS VP). BU also offers Punla and Sibol Scholarship Programs to qualified Grade 10 completers from public and private schools respectively.
