OUR PROGRAMS
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
The BSA program prepares student for careers in accounting and related disciplines, so that they could contribute responsibly and knowledgeably to the accounting profession, and respond successfully to various types of accounting assessments.
Students are provided with a broad base of knowledge in accounting, auditing, management and cost accounting, taxation, economic and industry issues, as wells as business process structures, function and practices.
Career Paths/Related Careers: BSA graduates are prepared for careers in public practice, commerce and industry, and government service as accountant, analyst, consultant, auditor or examiner, and in the academe as a faculty member.
Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting
BU will begin to offer the Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting program in Academic Year 2018-2019.
Management Accounting is a critical business field as organizational performance driven by accurate financial data. Students under this program will learn to manage, analyze and communicate complex financial data that are needed in making sound and effective business decisions.
Career Paths/Related Careers: BSA graduates of this program may pursue careers in commerce and industry and government service as accountant, analyst, consultant or examiner.
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
Specializations: Human Resource Development Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management, and the Digital Business and Analytics which is an international program where the courses are taught by Singaporean Professors.
The BSBA program provides students with the essential educational foundation that will prepare them to meet the increasing need for quality manpower in business and in entrepreneurship. The program is interdisciplinary and includes core business principles and practices that aim to create extensive opportunities for students in any business environment and to develop critical leadership skills needed by the graduate to become successful leaders and entrepreneurs.
Career Paths/Related Careers: All over the world, there is a high demand for business graduates. A wide variety of careers in the different functional areas of business opens to business students upon graduation. Business education may also be applied in the fields of entrepreneurship, sales, government, health services, hospitality management, non-profit sector, and other areas that involve business management and organizational processes.

CBAA programs are designed to ensure that desired program outcomes are attained through a learner-centered or outcomes-based approach. All existing curricula of these programs exceed the minimum requirements prescribed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
All members of the CBAA faculty are able to successfully teach and deliver the degree programs offered as they cull from their professional experience and educational qualifications.
As a testament to the quality of education provided by the CBAA, BSA graduates have consistently delivered excellent results in the Licensure Examinations for Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
The learning experience is enhanced by modern computer laboratories for information technology courses and for courses with Systems Applications and Products (SAP) integration.
The Bloomberg Laboratory, specially set up for business students, is comprised of terminals through which students can access Bloomberg professional servers and see real-time financial market data, place trades, and retrieve international business news from various sectors.
BU has on-the-job training arrangements with over 100 local and multinational companies in the Philippines where students can learn and engage in real-world situations beyond the classroom.
CBAA students are always encouraged and trained to actively participate as officers or directors of national student organizations, and as contestants in local, regional, and national competitions.
Accreditation granted by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP), upon the recommendation of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA), establishes the quality of education provided under the BSBA programs.
The BSBA program has been awarded a Level IV 1st Reaccredited status, currently the highest accreditation status being granted by FAAP, in accordance with the memorandum on quality and excellence issued by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), to “programs that are highly respected as very high quality academic programs in the Philippines and with prestige and authority comparable to similar programs in excellent foreign universities.”
First ever in Region 3, the BSA program of Baliuag University has been awarded a Level III Reaccredited status by PACUCOA.
Linkages with External Organizations
Committed to providing further training for our faculty and quality education for our students, we continue to expand our linkages with the external organizations, such as the Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PACSB), a nationwide association of educational institutions offering degree programs in business with a primary aim of upgrading the business education in the Philippines through Faculty Development Programs; the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL), which serves as a clearing-house of information, providing regular opportunities for the discussion of academic development and general university development; the Council of Deans and Educators in Business (CODEB), for the professional growth of faculty members and students in business and for strengthening linkages with the industry; the Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (BCCI), to promote entrepreneurship to business students; the Berlitz Language Center, to provide business students with proper training on customer service relations; Dream Search International Inc., for international and cultural exchange and travel programs specific to business students; Fasttrack IT Academy, to provide business student proper and hands-on training on SAP; and EastWest Educational Specialists and Bloomberg, for a certification in Financial Markets with Bloomberg Professional Service Training Program, as well as with the Bloomberg and Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment International Training Program.
