Baliuag University has renewed its partnership with CS Global Workplace, Inc., strengthening the bridge between academia and industry to equip students with real-world skills. The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), signed at BU’s historic Bahay na Bato, focuses on enhancing practicum and On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities for Information Technology and Computer Science students under the College of Information Technology Education (CITE).
The collaboration will give BU students valuable industry exposure, aligning academic programs with workplace demands through curriculum integration, knowledge sharing, and hands-on training.
BU President Dr. Patricia B. Lagunda emphasized the university’s dedication to providing relevant, future-focused education. Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Flordeliza A. Castro, CITE Dean Clarissa P. Vicente, and other BU officials joined her in sealing the agreement. Representing CS Global were Hazel Thea Dobles and Renzo Carlo Santiago, who affirmed the company’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent.
“This partnership is an investment in the future workforce,” said Dobles. “We’re excited to give students practical, industry-relevant experience that will prepare them for success.”
The renewed alliance underscores BU’s mission to produce competent, adaptable graduates—ready to excel in today’s competitive, tech-driven job market.
