The BSHM program puts together a broad range of knowledge and skill sets to prepare students in becoming professionals in the tracks they choose. The program integrates management, service, and practical learning into the curriculum to train students to be at the forefront of hospitality management.
Career Paths/ Related Career: Graduates of this program may pursue careers in restaurants and food service, or lodging and accommodation service.
Should you choose to pursue a career path in the restaurant and food service industry, you may get into the areas of fine dining, quick service, casual restaurants, managed services, catering, or beverages. Career opportunities under these include dining room positions, where you can serve in the frontlines as bartender, barista, sommelier, head waiter, restaurant manager, among many others.
If you are leaning more towards the lodging and accommodation sector, you have career opportunities in establishments such as hotels, resorts, and residences. The degree opens to positions related to the front office (e.g., front office attendant, bell service porter, rooms division or reservations manager) and housekeeping (e.g., housekeeping attendant, room steward, floor supervisor, laundry manager), as well as in the areas of convention and entertainment, where you can work as a marketing manager, convention and event manager, or events planner; public relations, where you may be a PR professional or telemarketing staff; and sales and marketing, where you can be an account executive or supervisor. You may also pursue a career involved in recreation, leisure, and special events, such as a spa manager, events coordinator, and leisure manager.
The BSTM program equips students with the knowledge, competencies, and skills needed in the tourism industry, through theory and practical application.
Career Paths/ Related Careers: Graduates of this program may choose to pursue any careers in: Travel, Lodging, Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibits (MICE), and Leisure and Recreation.
Under the Travel sector, tourism graduates can work for airlines, on cruise ships, and trains, and in other tourism-related establishments. You may become a tour guide, reservationist, public relations personnel, ticketing manager, and airline purser, among other roles.
The Lodging sector, which involves the front office, human resources, and sales and marketing, opens opportunities for you as a sales representative, management trainee, HR staff, and front office staff or manager.
As information analyst, PR staff, sales representative or meeting personnel, you can go to the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibits (MICE) sector to work on big meetings, conventions, and expositions.
Working in attractions, gaming, parks, and recreation is something to pursue under the Leisure and Recreation sector. You may become a theme park guide, promotions staff, events coordinator, reception staff, or recreation specialist.
Quality Instruction
The BSHM and BSTM programs offer well-designed and flexible curricula that facilitate a shared understanding of closely interrelated industry subsectors. Each curriculum consists of professional and technical core courses, complemented by electives to allow for specialized courses. Both programs offer industry-based, competitive curricula that provide the students with world-class competence and positive work values needed to execute tasks related to food production (culinary), accommodations, operations, food and beverage service operations, tourism planning and product development, planning management, transportation services, and travel and tours. The curricula integrate business theories and practices with management skills, hands-on experiences, and internship opportunities locally and internationally. The curricula focus on the students’ job readiness and matches the student competencies with industry standards.

Part of upgrading our curricula to build our students’ competitiveness involves integrating the Hospitality Management Suite Program created by Fasttrack Solutions for professional subjects like Front Office Procedures, Events Management, and Management Information System.
Facilities for Hands-on Experience
The College is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories: a fully air-conditioned hotel, fully-equipped laboratories with individual kitchens, and air-conditioned commercial kitchen for mass quantity of food production. The qualities of the facilities are at par with the standards of a fine dining restaurant and with amenities that are comparable with those of a deluxe hotel.
