Beneficiaries

The Baliuag University GINTONG ANI Scholarship is open to all incoming college freshmen who graduated with honors (see table below) from any public or DepED recognized private senior high school.

Benefits

The GINTONG ANI Scholarship provides 50% to 100% discounts on tuition and certain miscellaneous fees.

This scholarship is renewable every term (trimester) as long as eligibility requirements are met and maintained.

** Exclusions:  Discounts are not applicable to the following fees

Other Fees:  computer resources, internet, IT integration, student activity, laboratory, energy, BULPRISA, journals, and all other special fees

Depository Fees:  ID, insurance, library card, test papers, CEM/APSA testing fee, and other applicable depository fees

Eligibility

To be eligible for a Gintong Ani Scholarship, one must be an eligible honor graduate from the senior high school last attended. (See table above)

One must maintain a full-time enrolment and carry a full load (no less than 15 units with laboratory) during the trimester.

To maintain the scholarship, one must not drop any subject during the school year or trimester and maintain an average grade of 1.75-1.0, with no grade lower than 2.50.

One must not be subjected to any disciplinary action while studying in the University.

Requirements

Copy of senior high school report card

Certificate from the Senior High School Principal as to applicant's ranking honors received and number of students belonging to the graduating class (with school seal)

Certificate of good moral character - original and photocopy

One (1) recommendation letter from any of the following:  Principal, Teacher, Homeroom Adviser, or Guidance Counselor

Two (2) 1 x 1 I.D. picture

Applications, together with all relevant supporting documents, must be submitted on the specified date (no later than 3:30 pm from Mondays to Saturdays) to the Office of the Registrar.

Due to limited slots, applications will be deliberated and ranked based on merit by the Scholarship Committee.

Awarding of scholarships shall be announced on a specified date. Forms are available at the Office of the Registrar.

Availability of scholarship grants are upon the discretion of the University Administration.

The University Administration reserves the right to review and revise the terms of this financial assistance/scholarship program.

If qualified for two (2) or more scholarships, a student can only avail of one (1) scholarship of his or her own choosing.

The ranking of eligible honor graduates is based on one's final average.

To maintain the scholarship, one must not have any grade lower than 80 in any subject during the school year and must have a final average grade of 89 or above.

One must not be subjected to any disciplinary action while studying in the University. *** One must not have any outstanding balance in his/her account.

Validity

The BINHI Scholarship is valid only from Grades 7 to 10 or Junior High School level.

Authenticated (with school seal) certificate from the Elementary School Principal as to applicant's ranking, honors received, and number of students belonging to the graduating class

Certificate of good moral character - original and photocopy

One (1) recommendation letter from any of the following:  Principal, Teacher, Homeroom Adviser, or Guidance Counselor

Two (2) 1 x 1 I.D. picture

Application

Eligibility

To be eligible for a PUNLA Scholarship, one must be a beneficiary of DepEd's SHS Voucher Program (SHS VP).*

One must not be subjected to any disciplinary action while studying in the University.

** One must not have any outstanding balance in his/her account.

*  Baliuag University shall abide by DepEd Order No. 46 s. 2015 entitled Detailed Guidelines on the Implementation of the Senior High School (SHS) Voucher Program.

SIBOL 

Beneficiaries

The Baliuag University SIBOL Scholarship is open to all incoming Grade 11 students who ranked among the top three (3) Junior High School or Grade 10 completers from any DepED recognized private secondary schools. (See table below.)            

Benefits

The SIBOL Scholarship provides a 100% discount on tuition fees only.

Conditions for students with ESC and QVR vouchers:

** The SIBOL scholarship will cover the balance of tuition fees over and above the DepED Senior High School (SHS) voucher entitled to the student. Hence, the discount on tuition fees only applies after deducting the QVR or ESC voucher amount.

ESC Junior High School completers who are beneficiaries of the Senior High School Voucher Program (SHS VP) may use their vouchers for the payment of their other school fees. 

* Non-ESC JHS completers who become "qualified voucher recipients" and are issued a "QVR certificate” under the SHS VP may also use their vouchers for the payment of their other school fees.*

Eligibility

To be eligible for a Harvest Scholarship, one must be a summa cum laude, a magna cum laude or a cum laude graduate from the college or university last attended.

One must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units in a given term (semester) except during the last semester of stay in the University.

To maintain the scholarship, one must have a grade of not less than 1.75 in any course. One must not drop any subject during the school year or semester.

The scholarship does not apply to re-enrolled courses.

Transferees from other graduate programs from other schools are not eligible for this scholarship program.

One must not have any outstanding balance in his/her account.

It is also important that one must not be subjected to any disciplinary action while studying in the University**.

Requirements:

Copy of diploma or Certificate (with school seal) that the applicant graduated as summa cum laude, magna cum laude, or cum laude, duly signed by the Dean, Registrar, or authorized school official.

Benefits

Principal's scholars are entitled to 100% discount on annual tuition fees.

This scholarship is given every year to a limited number of qualified students.

Eligibility / Retention

To be eligible to become a Principal's Scholar, one must be ranked No. 1 in his/her grade school level.

One must maintain the first position in the ranking in order to enjoy the privilege for the next school year. If not, the privilege will automatically be given to the next qualified student.

It is also important that one must not be subjected to any disciplinary action while studying in the University*.

EDUCATIONAL SUBSIDY for BU Employee Dependent/s

Financial Assistance/Personnel Benefit

Beneficiaries

The Baliuag University EDUCATIONAL SUBSIDY Progam is granted to a maximum of three (3) legal children enrolled in any Basic Education level (Kindergarten to Grade 12) of full-time regular employees of Baliuag University in good standing for the duration of his/her tenure of office.  

Benefits vary for children enrolled in Grade School (K-6) and Junior (Grades 7-10) and Senior High School (Grades 11-12).

Legal children refer to minor children by birth and/or legally adopted children.

Benefits

* Exclusions:

Discounts are not applicable to the following fees:  all laboratory fees, internet and IT integration fees, energy fees, ID, insurance,

test papers, cards, journals, school annual, graduation fees, and all other special or other depository fees.

Coverage and Eligibility

Only children of full-time regular employees of Baliuag University in good standing are qualified and eligible to become recipients of the Educational Subsidy Program.

Requirements

Original and certified true copy of the birth certificate of child/children

Original and certified true copy of adoption papers of legally adopted child

LOYALTY PROGRAM

Incentive Program

Beneficiaries

The Baliuag University Loyalty Program is an incentive program designed to encourage loyal students and/or graduates of the school to continue their studies in the institution. The program is open to all incoming elementary, junior, and senior high school, technical-vocational, college, and graduate students of the Baliuag University who completed certain levels of education in the University.

Benefits

Tuition fee discounts are given to students of Baliuag University based on the levels they have completed at Baliuag University.

This incentive program is renewable annually for Elementary to 1st year College and every term (trimester) for 2nd year to 3rd/4th year College as long as eligibility requirements are met and maintained.

Eligibility

For Basic Education, Junior High School, Senior High School, School of Technical Courses Students:

To be eligible for the Loyalty Incentive Program, one must be a graduate or must have completed the required number of years per level.

To maintain this incentive, one must not have any failing grade in any subject and/or must maintain a passing grade in all subjects.

One must not have any outstanding balance in his/her account.

It is also important that one must not be subjected to any disciplinary action while studying in the University.*

For College Students:

To be eligible for the Loyalty Incentive Program, one must be a graduate or must have completed the required number of years per level.

To maintain this incentive, one must not have any failing grade in any subject and/or must maintain a passing grade in all subjects.

One must complete the program within the prescribed period.

One must not have any outstanding balance in his/her account.
