Loyalty Program

Beneficiaries

The Baliuag University LOYALTY PROGRAM is a scholarship program designed to assist loyal students or graduates of the school. The program is open to all kindergarten, elementary, high school and college graduates of the Baliuag University.

Benefits

Discounts are given to graduates of Baliuag University based on the levels they have completed at Baliuag University.

This scholarship is renewable annually as long as eligibility requirements are maintained.

Eligibility

For Elementary, High School and College/Voc-Tech Students:

  • To be eligible for the Loyalty Program Scholarship, an applicant must be a graduate or must have completed the required number of years per level.
  • To maintain the scholarship, he/she must not have any failing grade in any subject and/or maintain a passing grade in all subjects.
  • To maintain the scholarship, the student must not drop any subject during the school year or semester.
  • It is also important that the student not be subjected to any disciplinary action while studying in the University.**

For Graduate Students:

  • To be eligible for the Loyalty Program Scholarship, a graduate student must be a college graduate of or has completed tertiary level at Baliuag University.
  • He/She must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units in a given semester except during the last semester of stay in the University.
  • To maintain the scholarship, the student must have a grade of not less than 1.75 in any subject.
  • He/She must not drop any subject during the school year or semester.
  • The student must complete the program within the prescribed period.
  • It is also important that the student not be subjected to any disciplinary action while studying in the University.**

Application

  • Application opens 30th of March and closes 31st of May.
  • Forms are available at the Registrar’s Office.
  • Applications, together with all relevant supporting documents, must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office not later than 5:00 pm from Monday to Saturday.

Baliuag U Band Member

Beneficiaries

The Baliuag University BAND MEMBER’S Scholarship is given to a limited number of qualified high school or college students who have skills in playing musical instruments.

This scholarship is also open to three (3) qualified majorettes.

Proxies:

  • In some cases, a student may apply for a band member scholarship though a proxy to enjoy the same privilege entitled to a band member scholar.
  • This is only possible if there is no available student to fill up a slot for the bandmaster to complete the ensemble.
  • A proxy should be an immediate family member of the student.
  • A proxy should be an immediate relative of the student.
  • A proxy should provide for his/her own musical instrument.
  • The student must apply for a proxy who must pass the screening and interview by the Bandmaster.

Band member scholars are entitled to 100% discount on tuition fee. This scholarship is given and renewable every semester to a limited number of qualified students.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible to become a Band Member Scholar, an applicant must be a bona fide student of Baliuag University.
  • For college student, he/she must have a minimum of 15 units load per semester.
  • The student must be able to read musical notes, must know how to play a brass band instrument of his/her own.
  • The student must apply for the Band Member’s Scholarship every semester and pass the screening, qualifying exam and interview by the Bandmaster.
  • He/She must have no failing grade in any subject.
  • To maintain the scholarship, he/she must have completed all the required attendance during practices and performances as required by the Bandmaster and must have passed the evaluation conducted every end of the semester.
  • The student must not be subjected to any disciplinary action while studying in the University.**

  • Certification from the Bandmaster (continuing grantee)
  • One (1) 2 x 2 I.D. picture

  • Application period: March 1 to May 31
  • Deadline of submission to HRD Office: May 31
  • Forms are available at the HRD Office.
  • Applications, together with all relevant supporting documents, must be submitted to the HRD Office not later than 5:00 pm from Monday to Saturday.

Varsity Player

Beneficiaries

The Baliuag University VARSITY PLAYER Scholarship is given to a limited number of qualified high school or college students.

Benefits

Varsity players are entitled to 100% discount on tuition fee for a maximum of 15 units.

This scholarship is given and renewable every semester to a limited number of qualified students.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible to become a Varsity Player, an applicant must be a bona fide student of Baliuag University.
  • For college student, he/she must carry a minimum load of 12 units in a regular semester. He/She must be able to fit in his/her schedule practices and trainings.
  • The student must have passed at least 60% of the total academic load in the semester.
  • To maintain the scholarship, he/she must have a total average grade of at least 3.0 per semester.
  • The student must apply for the Varsity Scholarship every semester and pass the medical exam (including a drug test), screening, qualifying/try-outs and interview by the Physical Education Department.
  • The student shall be required to sign a Varsity Contract as drafted by the Physical Education Department.
  • To maintain the scholarship, he/she must have completed all the required attendance during practices and performances as required by the Coach and must have passed the evaluation conducted every end of the semester.
  • To continue enjoying the privileges of a Varsity Scholar, the student must have passed the evaluation conducted by the Physical Education Department every end of the semester.
  • It is also important that the student not be subjected to any disciplinary action while studying in the University.**

Requirements

  • Copy of Baliuag University registration form
  • Copy of High School report card/College class cards
  • Passing the screening, qualifying exam/try-outs and interview
  • Four (4) 2 x 2 I.D. pictures
  • Medical Certificate (duly noted by the University Physician) with medical results: CBC, Urinalysis, X-ray, Drug test
  • Accomplished Varsity Contract

  • Forms are available at the Physical Education Department.
  • Applications, together with all relevant supporting documents, must be submitted to the Physical Education Department not later than 5:00 pm from Monday to Saturday.
