The College of Nursing proudly celebrates its 35th Candlelighting and Capping Ceremony with Hon. Marco Antonio C. Sto. Tomas as the Guest Speaker last August 26, 2010. As a member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing, he reiterated his commitment to maintain the integrity of the Nurse Licensure Examination. He mentioned that one of the initiatives of the Board of Nursing is the On Line Application program which he hoped to make use of this system in the next examination in 2010.
There are 244 candidates that belong to BSN Class 2011 who qualify themselves to become part of this memorable event.
The event was also graced by the presence of the University President, Dr. Alicia S. Bustos, the VP for Administration and External Affairs, Dr. Patricia B. Lagunda, and the VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Flordeliza A. Castro.
Dean Elizabeth R. Roxas of the College of Nursing led the Florence Nightingale Pledge.
