Despite the ongoing pandemic, Baliuag University made sure to honor tradition and bring joy to its community by holding its 95th Christmas celebration through the launch of its first Christmas ID.
The BU Christmas ID starts with a trip down memory lane, reminiscing all the Christmas lighting ceremonies of the past years. This annual tradition is a vivid representation of the song “Tahanan”, composed and arranged by Kristine and Kenneth Madera, together with BU Consultant, Atty. Noli Del Rosario.
The Christmas ID shows three timely themes: In Pasko sa Aming Tahanan, BU students from basic education to college share their families’ Christmas preparation at home.
Tuloy Pa Rin ang Pasko depicts how BU’s teaching and non-teaching personnel got their departments and offices ready for Christmas.
And #AlagangBU Ngayong Pasko presents BU’s commitment to making a difference by bringing the spirit of Christmas to the community through reaching out to people who are in need in times of pandemic.
BU alumni from different countries also share their heartfelt greetings to the BU community, showing that no matter where they are, Baliuag University still and always will be dear to its graduates.
A warm holiday greeting concludes the Christmas ID. Led by BU President, Dr. Patricia Bustos-Lagunda, the BU family form a hand gesture of a house close to their chests—a sign that Baliuag University is and always will be a home close to everyone’s hearts.
